Alright so this is a con that is going to happen in the week of December 7&8 in my home city.
I am really excited! Because its by the same people who ran the Comic Con here too so I know its going to be good.
The only reason I was convinced to go was because of Yaya Han.
I LOVE her work!
I love her costumes all the time, seeing her in a new one or just seeing new pictures of her with older costumes makes me happy.
I want to be like her but not too famous, I'd rather be fairly well known in and around where I live haha.
The community of cosplaying is amazing, even though there is always a couple of people who make it seem like how cosplay is stereotyped...its a good community.
My issue is that Syfy's Heroes of Cosplay is going to be there....
To recap, I haven't seen some episodes yet but from what I hear from Yaya Han and a lot of people...
It is edited to the point where it makes cosplay look like its only drama, that cosplayers are bossy and all the stereotypes...
It makes me angry, I will eventually get time to watch it but knowing that people who are willing to make cosplay look bad to be there...is kinda nerve wrecking.
I will ignore them and go and meet Yaya Han!
I might try out for the masquerade as Aradia Megido (male or female depending on if I can steal a friends wig for that weekend or I buy the wig online)
